We've added two new members to our growing team, Cathy Valenzuela and Joanna Martinez, both bringing more than 20 years of experience in the print industry. While their experience is multi-faceted, they bring proven expertise in all things wide-format print. We're so excited to learn and grow with them! Read on to learn more about Cathy and Joanna.

CATHY VALENZUELA, Account Manager

How did you get your start in the print industry?
My high school offered Printing as an elective.

How long have you been in the industry?
25 years.

How has the print industry changed since then?
It's been exciting to see the changes, especially with Wide Format. The speed has really been a game charger.

In your opinion, what sets ProGraphix apart?
The ability to control the project from beginning to end as a team. 

Give a few details of your favorite part of your job.
Of course, the end results.  Seeing the project installed, seeing the client happy & excited. 

What do you love most about wide-format printing?
Seeing art at lifesize scale. Seeing ideas come to life. 

What is a favorite project you've worked on?
I have so many. 

What do you like to do in your spare time (outside of work)?
I love to explore the outdoors.  I love to travel, eat and drink!

Are you involved in any organizations/volunteer work?
I volunteer with a group of ladies at Chicktime. I wish I could do more.  

What is a favorite quote/motto/motivation of yours? 
Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and the way you make others feel is your trademark.

What is a fun fact about you?
I love to cook!

JOANNA MARTINEZ, Production Specialist

How did you get your start in the print industry?
A friend recommended that I apply for a bindery job.

How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the industry 42 years.

How has the print industry changed since then?
So many positions in the industry have become obsolete but printers being digital and the technology of the machines is amazing.

In your opinion, what sets ProGraphix apart?
The people.

Give a few details of your favorite part of your job.
The diversity [of projects].

What do you love most about wide-format printing?
Working on trade shows and festivals.

What is a favorite project you've worked on?
The Texas Monthly BBQ Festival

What do you like to do in your spare time (outside of work)?
Walk my dog and watch movies.

What is a favorite quote/motto/motivation of yours? 
Don't judge a book by it's cover.

What is a fun fact about you?
I love saying quotes from my favorite movies.
